Spanish skies
Taken just after Christmas in Andalucia.

This thing floated past today. At first glance I thought it was part of Fawley oil refinery, it was only when I realised the damn thing was moving that it dawned on me that it was a ship. I don’t know why, but there’s something slightly appalling about it, it’s just so damn BRUTAL looking. I think it’s some sort of car transporter. I don’t think ships have ever been this ugly, how the hell did we get from the Cutty Sark to here? Perversely though, I’d quite like it as a private yacht. I imagine once you ditched the cargo, there’d be tonnes of space in it to fill with all manner of bizarre environments, and the sides of it are just begging to have loads of surreal crap painted all over them. Yeah, when I rule the world.
Lepe country park – near Southampton, UK. Beautiful afternoon. Quite a historic site this, a lot of remnants of the preparation for the D-Day landings, the Mulberry harbours were launched from round here.

We’re back, bolder, better, bigger, meaner, leaner, keener. Leading edge, cutting edge, bleeding edge, on the edge, that tingling premonition even before the blade slices. Oh yes we are. Accept no imitations, limitations or intimidations. It’s the sale of the century, the big one, the ultimate. If you’re lucky, we’ll even make you a cup of tea.
