Evening walk around Old Winchester Hill. Quiet. Virtually deserted. Possibly on account of the wind being so damn cold. Light was nice though. Took the little Leica rather than the big fat Nikon. Forget just how damn good it is, even for an eight year old digital camera.
As I’m discovering the utter joys of alternative tunings (something that seems to have been obvious to every other bugger on the planet except me because I am stubborn and stupid apparently) here’s my first joyful foray into an open D Minor DADfad tuning and yes I like this very much and yes it is bloody huge fun.
Love hellebores. This one was a gift from my mother, all my others died off. Got the light tent out for the first time in about two years to have a very quick go at shooting it. Need more practice, but at least I got something…
New track what I have been playing with. Fairly unpolished. Because polish isn’t really my thing.
From the edge of the Cotswolds at Coaley Peak. Rain squalls moving in over the Severn, pretty magnificent view.
Bits of England at Mottisfont, Hampshire last Sunday while out with the girls.
In the garden today. Starting to get more interesting finally. Quickly snapped and roughly edited, need a fair bit more polish.
Finding oddities on my audio drive that I’d never done anything with.
Kind of a gothy piano dirge type thing.
